;Recording your vlogs with Quicktime.

I have recently been informed about a new way to record vlogs(video logs) that make the process of uploading and saving of the file a little bit easier here are the simple steps for this.Thanks to Mr. Krebs.
1. You first open up Quicktime Player.app(Quicktime 10)
2. After its open go up to file and record new video.
3. Then record by just hitting the record button on the bottom of the Quicktime player.
4. After recording go to file save for web select the computer file.
5. Upload process the same through youtube or straight through blogger.

Recording with photobooth.
1. Open Photobooth and change to the video tab.
2. Direct the camera toward your self and then hit record when your ready.
3. Once you have recorded click the video on the bottom and drag it to your desktop.
4. Once you have it on your desktop all that is left is to upload it.


Steps to fix the strange looking pictures when you upload a video:
1. Control click on the M4a file and open with Quicktime Player.app
2. File save for web uncheck the two Iphone Squares select desktop and save.
3. There will then be a folder on your desktop upload the computer file in the folder.

Recording with Audacity.

1. After you are done recording go up to the menu bar and select file and then export  
2. Before you click okay make sure that the format is WAV.
3. Check to to see if the WAV. file opens in itunes by default.
4. When your ready to open this in Garageband you have to first open Garageband.
5. While in Garageband take the WAV. file and drag it into Gargeband

Posting podcast from Garageband

1. Share à export to disk (.m4a)
2. Open in quicktime control + click
3. Save as quicktime file (.mov)
4. Open youtube Browse à upload file
5. Copy embedded code
6. Paste into your blog HTML tab.

Creating a podcast with Garageband

1. The first step is to open GarageBand.
2. Next you should get a window that looks like the one  labeled "step 2" you choose the podcast.
3. Then next another window should pop up and allows you to name and save the project
4. After the first three steps another window will appear like the one labeled "step 4."
5. Selecting the male or female voice will allow you to record what ever it is that you want to say using the red button on the bottom of the window like the one labeled "step 5"
6. You can also added your own music to your project. by going to the bottom right hand corner and clicking the eye as shown in "step 6"
7. You can select what ever music it is you want.
8. Now to add your pictures you just click and drag them on the bottom section of the window shown in "step 4" this only works one at a time.
9. After you add your picture you will need to change the volume of the music so your voice can be heard to do that you click on the arrow circled in the image labeled "step 9.

 10 You click on the line in the image labeled "step 10" and click and drag up and down to change the volume setting for that track.

11. You click on the line in the image labeled "step 10" and click and drag up and down to change the volume setting for that track.

12. Now for this all to work you have to go up to share and export to disk as shown in image labeled "step 11."

13.  After you then have to find were you exported file and open it with quicktime so you can see if you pictures match up with you voice and how you want it to look.

Podcast setup

1. Open GarageBand and select podcast
2. Delete all the track by going up to the menu bar and tracks delete track will delete selected track. do this until all tracks are deleted

Then go up to track again then add new basic track this can be used for real instruments and software instruments.


Getting a video from Digital Nation
First, you need to go the the video you want. Once at the video you need to go up to the top and click on the Three spinning red blue and yellow balls then select your video then download. After that it should be downloaded in a flash file. Right click(control click for laptop) On the flash file mouse over open with select quicktime player.app. Save the file after that as a .mov file type. After completeing these steps you should be able to upload the .mov file to animoto.
