Slings and Arrows
The series, Slings and Arrow, is an interesting show because the director has a play company put on Macbeth and Romeo&Juliet. Throughout the three episodes, parallel scenes between the actors and the characters they portray. The themes of Shakespeare are shown in the characters before they are shown in the play. My favorite part is when the egotist actor, Henry Breedlove, realizes that the director of the play, Geoffrey, made last minute changes that would interfere with how he believed he should come on stage. As a result of this, Henry was enraged and that emotion helped him personify the role of Macbeth.
